Welcome to my new Blog. Let me take this opportunity to send out a huge Thank you to everyone who has poked, prodded and encouraged me along the path to making photography my second career. That encouragement came in many forms, either by offering kind words or lending me your smiling faces and those of your children to take photographs of. I'm sure I have already said it but just to be sure Thank you, I truly appreciate it.

I've been taking photographs for awhile now and some of my posts may be a few months old but I'm posting them because they are some of my favourites. I hope you like them too!

I have yet to build a website. To be honest I don't love the technical aspect of maintaining a website so I may wait and see how blogging goes and decide whether or not I really need a website.

If the triplets prompted me to make a blog then it would have to be this shot that made me start to think that I would like to take my photography a little more seriously. Thanks to one of my best friends for letting me share this photo.

Three's company






Truth be known, it was my friend Monica and the birth of her three gorgeous babies who gave me the final nudge I needed to get this blog going. When I heard that triplets were on the way I also went out and bought studio lights. I wanted to make sure all of my bases were covered and that taking photos of the babies would not be a missed opportunity because of a cloudy day. Thanks Monica!
